Active Violence Immediate Response Training (AVIRT) gives you the tools to understand how to recognize warning signs, react quickly in an active shooter situation, and learn how to control bleeding in life-threatening situations. AVIRT is active shooter response training with the addition of techniques on how to stop the bleed of victims.
AVIRT provide training on how to:
Recognize warning signs using situational awareness
Decide whether to escape, evade, or attack during an active shooter situation
Apply critical stop the bleed techniques
Respond quickly and confidently in an emergency
1. Payment Fees & Credit Card Surcharge Notice
To keep our base tuition rates as affordable as possible, our online registration system applies a non-refundable booking and processing fee to all credit card transactions.
Debit Cards: Due to federal processing regulations, debit cards are not accepted by our online checkout system.
Fee-Free Alternatives: Students wishing to avoid credit card surcharges or pay via cash, or Zelle may select the "Pay Later / Invoice" option at checkout. Payment must then be settled prior to or on the morning of the scheduled class.

Minimum Class Size Policy
Active Violence Immediate Response Training (AVIRT) relies heavily on practical, hands-on application, including partner drills, team-based movement, and simulated response scenarios. A minimum attendance threshold is required to ensure a safe, realistic, and effective learning environment.
Every scheduled AVIRT session must have a minimum of two (2) confirmed participants to proceed and maximum class size of 15.
Single-participant sessions are not permitted due to the collaborative and physical nature of immediate response drills. In the rare event that a class does not meet the minimum registration threshold, we will notify you via email and phone at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. If your class is canceled due to low enrollment, you will receive the choice of a 100% full refund or an immediate, priority transfer into another upcoming class date.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because student seats are strictly limited and physical training materials must be prepared in advance, we enforce the following cancellation schedule:
Cancellations made 24 hours or more before class: Eligible for a full refund of the base tuition price. (Please note that online credit card processing fees are non-refundable).
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before class: No refunds will be issued.
No-Shows: If you fail to attend your scheduled class without prior notice, your tuition and registration fees are completely forfeited.
135 minutes is the minimum amount of time to complete skills session. Note: Class time can be extended to ensure all material is covered following the HSI Guidlines.
