1. Payment and Booking Fees

Online registration may include a non-refundable booking and processing fee. The total amount due, including any applicable fee, will be shown before payment is submitted.

Students who prefer to pay by cash, Zelle, or invoice may choose the “Pay Later / Invoice” option at checkout, when available. Payment must be received before the start of the scheduled class. A registration is not guaranteed until payment is received.

2. Blended Learning Requirement

For blended-learning classes, the required online portion must be completed before attending the in-person skills session.

Students who have not completed the online course, or cannot provide verification of completion, cannot participate in the skills session or receive certification. This is an American Red Cross requirement including AVIRT.

Students who arrive without completing the online portion may receive one courtesy transfer to a future skills session within 60 days, subject to availability. No refund will be issued in this situation. If a new online-course voucher is required, the student is responsible for any applicable replacement cost.

3. Minimum Class Size Policy

High-quality safety and CPR training relies on interactive, hands-on practice. A minimum of four registered participants is required for a scheduled public class to run.

If a class does not meet the minimum registration requirement, Live Safe LLC will notify registered students by email and phone at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Students may choose either:

• A full refund of all amounts paid, including any booking fee; or

• A priority transfer to another available class date.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Because class sizes are limited and training materials are prepared in advance, the following policy applies:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before class: Students may receive a refund of the base tuition price, less any non-refundable booking or processing fee, or request a free transfer to a future class date.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before class: No refund will be issued. Students may request one rescheduling credit for another available session within 60 days.

No-shows: Students who do not attend without prior notice forfeit their tuition and registration fees. A new registration is required to attend a future class.
