The American Red Cross Basic Life Support classroom only-r.25 course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to quickly assess recognize and care for cardiac arrest provide high-quality CPR and use an AED to optimize patient outcomes. Designed for both in-hospital and out-of-hospital healthcare clinicians this training is consistent with the 2025 evidence-based science guidelines and covers additional life-threatening emergencies including respiratory arrest drowning opioid overdose myocardial infarction life-threatening bleeding and obstructed airway in adults children and infants. Participants attend an in-person session fully taught by an Instructor that includes knowledge-based learning and hands-on skill practice. Participants are required to successfully demonstrate skill competency during skills practice and testing scenarios and pass a final exam to earn an American Red Cross Basic Life Support certificate valid for two years.

To keep our base tuition rates as affordable as possible, our online registration system applies a non-refundable booking and processing fee to all credit card transactions.

Debit Cards: Due to federal processing regulations, debit cards are not accepted by our online checkout system.

Fee-Free Alternatives: Students wishing to avoid credit card surcharges or pay via cash, or Zelle may select the "Pay Later / Invoice" option at checkout. Payment must then be settled prior to or on the morning of the scheduled class.

Minimum Class Size Policy

High-quality, compliant safety and CPR training relies on interactive, hands-on practice. Therefore, we require a minimum of 4 participants to run a scheduled course. In the rare event that a class does not meet the minimum registration threshold, we will notify you via email and phone at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. If your class is canceled due to low enrollment, you will receive the choice of a 100% full refund or an immediate, priority transfer into another upcoming class date.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because student seats are strictly limited and physical training materials must be prepared in advance, we enforce the following cancellation schedule:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before class: Eligible for a full refund of the base tuition price, or a free transfer to a future date. (Please note that online credit card processing fees are non-refundable).

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before class: No refunds will be issued. However, you may request a one-time rescheduling credit to attend a different session within the next 60 days.

No-Shows: If you fail to attend your scheduled class without prior notice, your tuition and registration fees are completely forfeited.

300 minutes is the minimum amolunt of time to complete skills session. Note: Class time can be extended to ensure all material is covered following the Red Cross Guidelines.
